What is Checkatrade, and what does it do?
Checkatrade has been around since 1998 and is the original online trade directory. It was set up to connect professional tradespeople with residents and businesses in their area. The platform allows us to showcase our services.
We had to undergo a thorough vetting process before we got our certificate. This includes providing a minimum of five references from previously completed works along with our electricians' qualifications and insurance certificates.
The vetting process included background checks to prove our qualifications, insurance, identity (proof of work, address and photo identification) and references were not falsely created.
How does Checkatrade benefit you as the customer?
